Overview

MAC Construction Consultants are a privately owned construction consultancy working with an extensive and varied list of clients.

They provide a variety of services across a wide range of sectors including automotive, education, healthcare, industrial, infrastructure, leisure, office, residential, retail and waste sectors.

They operate nationally from offices in Bristol, London, Leeds, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Sheffield.

MK Brief

MK were approached by MAC Construction Consultants in November 2019 and were asked to help raise awareness of: the breadth of its service offer; the depth of expertise within the team; and the myriad of sectors that MAC works within.

Strategy

MK worked to develop a comprehensive communication campaign utilising several relevant, targeted platforms in order to deliver construction key messages to relevant core audiences.

The platforms included:

• Social media
• The company’s website
• The media

Results

Social media:

Over a three-month period, MK Public Relations began populating The MAC LinkedIn and Twitter pages with information on relevant projects they were working on, events they were attending and any further company activities.

The MAC LinkedIn account gained 344 followers. This was at net increase of 44%. The account now has a total of 1,126 followers.

The MAC Twitter account gained 17 followers. This was a net increase of 5%. The account now has a total of 366 followers.

Website:

Since starting our work, we have populated the news section of the company’s website with 8 relevant up to date news stories. This has driven more traffic to the website and generated more awareness about the type of work they do.

Media:

Over the three months we produced and distributed 3 press releases.
