At MK, supporting charities is extremely important to us.

Alongside supporting charities such as The Children’s Hospital Charity, Helen’s Trust and Kids ‘N’ Cancer from a press office and consultancy aspect, in our spare time a number of us are committee members, volunteers and active fundraisers for charities across the UK.

Recently, we took part in the Helen’s Trust 10K Chatsworth run, some of us running it, some of us marshalling and others coming along to support Team MK and our clients ELR. Members of the team at Estate Agents Eadon, Lockwood and Riddle swapped their suits for sweat bands and raised over £1,000 in the name of Helen’s Trust, a local Derbyshire charity which supports individuals who are suffering from terminal illness and wish to remain at home with their families.

The charity doesn’t stop there – this weekend Team MK are also taking on Meadowhall’s Race for Life challenge, where we will be running 5k around the Steel City to help raise awareness and money for Cancer Research UK – don’t worry, we’ve all been training hard!

And later this month we will also be helping The Children’s Hospital Charity to raise £10 million pounds regionally by getting involved in Make It Better Day – a 24hour challenge to raise as much money as possible to help transform the hospital into a world-class facility.

We will be reverting back to our school days and playing a game of rounders with the charity and other corporate supporters to help them reach their goal. As one of our clients, we are very proud to be able to assist this charity in a host of different ways.
